SANYO Publishes Literature on V.I.P.™ Series -86°C Ultra-Low Temperature Freezers

04/15/2002

(SANYO Electric Biomedical Co., Ltd., Osaka, Japan, (distributed by SANYO Biomedical, Bensenville, IL) has published literature on its line of V.I.P.™ Series -86°C ultra-low temperature freezers.

V.I.P.™ Series -86°C ultra-low temperature freezersThe literature highlights SANYO's patented V.I.P.™ vacuum insulation panel technology developed to maximize the use of critical laboratory floor space. The insulation technique is proven to increase effective freezer storage capacity by as much as 30% in the same footprint. While conventional low-temperature freezers use foamed-in-place insulation as thick as 5" (12.7cm), the new SANYO V.I.P.™ technology incorporates a structurally strong thin-wall composite 2.75" (7cm) thick capable of protecting freezer contents at extreme temperature differentials spanning up to 121°C (215°F).

Also featured in the literature is an actual-size illustration of SANYO's integrated microprocessor control system, which is crafted from SANYO-built electronic components specifically selected for low-temperature applications.
