Model MCO-5AC Compact, 1.8 cu.ft. CO2 Incubator, marketed as part of the convenience minded Personal Series™ to ultimately save space, time, and money for the end user, is available with SafeCell™ UV technology as an option to preventatively protect in vitro cell cultures from contamination without culturing downtime. 

Model MCO-5AC's design allows triple stacking and arraying of incubation chambers.

The SafeCell™ UV integrated contamination control technique is effective against airborne organisms including mycoplasma, bacteria, molds, yeasts, spores and fungi, as well as thermophilic and hyperthermophilic contaminants that can survive high-heat decontamination cycles.  SANYO exclusive copper-enriched inCU saFE™ stainless steel interior surfaces are germicidally resistant to contact contamination and spills for additional preventative contamination control.

The compact design also allows for convenient triple stacking and arraying of incubation chambers.  This unit meets GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) requirements by helping to avoid patient-to-patient cross contamination in individualized patient-specific clinical incubation applications, such as in vitro fertilization and regenerative medicine techniques.
